Firearms Training
This class gives you a introduction to firearms. When questions or doubts arise about anything the internet can be a great source for misleading information. After the training, you’ll be able to identify the nomenclature of a hand gun. You’ll also learn to maintain awareness before and after a shooting.

Programs
Concealed Carry Certification
Concealed carry firearm training certification is 16 hour course that consist of: 4 basic firearm handling safety rules, home/vehicle storage, handgun fundamentals, stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, gun identification, cleaning, loading and unloading.
Instructor
Concealed carry firearms instructor must possess an Illinois or similar state concealed carry license or be in the process of applying. Out of state applicants must carry a license from which the state they reside. Submit fingerprints through an Illinois licensed livescan vendor. Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED certificate. Must possess at least one of these firearms instructor certifications:
-Certification from a law enforcement agency
-Certification from a firearm instructor course offered by a state or federal governmental agency
-Certification from a firearm instructor course offered by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board
-Certification from an entity approved by the Illinois State Police that offers firearm instructor education and training in the use and safety of firearms, such as the National Rifle Association of America (NRA).
Renewal Course
Renewal firearm certification is a 3 hour course that includes: the act relating to the ownership, storage, carry and transportation of a firearm, the FOID act, and weapon handling.
